About me
Dr April Johnston graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2007 with her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Prior to attending chiropractic college, she was a Regents Scholar and Honors student at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Following graduation, Dr Johnston practiced in Minnesota and Iowa. She moved back to Nebraska in 2012 and started working as an Associate Physician at a clinic in Omaha until her move to Fort Myers. She completed her acupuncture certification from Cleveland University in 2013 and immediately started incorporating that into her practice. She also completed classes through the International Chiropractic Pediatrics Association (ICPA) and is certified in Webster Technique.
Dr Johnston is new to the Fort Myers area and very excited to be here. She is looking forward to helping people feel better and live healthier lives. In her free time, Dr Johnston enjoys spending time with her nine year old twin girls and enjoys cooking, reading, and doing a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, swimming, and hanging out at the beach.
