Education and Experience:
Dr. Orlando Landrum is a Harvard University trained, double board-certified physician with over 20 years’ experience helping patients achieve a life without pain. Dr. Landrum is an interventional spine physician with expertise in regenerative medicine, non-invasive and invasive neuromodulation, and minimally invasive pain management procedures.
Inspiration and Philosophy:
Having been an athlete his whole life, Dr. Glazer possesses a profound appreciation for the body’s capabilities and the importance of maintaining its health and function. This lifelong interest, combined with his undergraduate focus, inspired him to further his education in a field where he could empower people to lead better lives, characterized by minimal pain and optimal function and performance.
Primary Areas of Practice:
Dr. Landrum obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in three years. He then attended the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in Chicago, IL, to earn his Doctor of Medicine degree, followed by an internship in internal medicine at the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, IL. He completed a residency at Harvard University’s Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, and then held a fellowship in interventional pain management at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY, affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine, Columbia University, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the Hospital for Special Surgery.
Personalized Care Approach:
He is double board-certified in both Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is an active member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Golden Key National Honor Society, the World Academy of Pain Medicine Ultrasonography, and the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
Patient Education and Empowerment:
Dr. Landrum is passionate about using his expertise to treat the whole patient, including the complex interplay of mental health and physical ailments using treatments as wide ranging as regenerative medicine techniques in both the periphery and spine, as well as endoscopic spine procedures. He has also presented at national and international conferences on a multitude of topics, including topical patch therapy for peripheral neuropathy
Personal Life:
In his free time, Dr. Landrum enjoys practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, traveling, and rooting for the Chicago Bears. He is excited to join RejuvenX to support patients affected by post-accident pain.
