Dr. George Ryan Mattes | RejuvenX

About me

Dr. George Ryan Mattes was born in Hawaii and raised in a military community where he learned the value of hard work, the importance of leadership, and a commitment to excellence.  Dr. Mattes relocated to south Florida when he was 12 years old after his father retired from the U.S. Army. He discovered the amazing benefits of chiropractic care while playing high school football and developing multiple low back injuries. When medications failed, at the advice of his trainer, he started receiving chiropractic adjustments and physical therapy. The treatments not only reduced the pain, but, more importantly, treated the root cause of the injuries acquired on the football field. He graduated from Vero Beach High School and obtained his bachelor of science degree from the University of Central Florida in Molecular biology and Microbiology. With his previous experience with chiropractic care, a passion for human anatomy, physiology, and its relation to human movement, he furthered his studies by attending Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree and was awarded the prestigious Academic Excellence Award by the faculty.

While attending chiropractic school, Dr. Mattes developed extensive training in techniques and modalities such as Cox Flexion-Distraction, Pettibon, CBP, Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, Graston, and FMS/SFMA.  Dr. Mattes has a passion for lifelong learning and is committed to helping you reach your best health and vitality and providing effective chiropractic care for the whole family.

Dr. Mattes is an active member of the Florida Chiropractic Association.  In his spare time, he enjoys reading, working out, playing golf, and spending time with his wife, Christina.
